Hot Stone Massage was introduced to our industry over 20 years ago. This holistic massage quickly becoming one of the most popular massage treatments available to salons and therapists.
The stones are basalt stones which have developed over thousands of years from around volcanic areas, such as the Canary Islands. The use of the basalt stones when heated will give the client a deep relaxing massage, which benefits not only those suffering from stress but also those in need of deeper muscular massage.
A massage that can be given as a full body treatment, but also can be incorporated into other treatments such as a facial, or Japanese head spas. Once you have successfully completed this course you will receive an accredited diploma which will allow you to gain insurance and work within and aspect of our industry – salon, home, mobile, spa etc.
Once you have qualified in this treatment you can earn an average of £75 per hour.
