Traditionally a new year is when we starting looking at a new career or an additional income. With the beauty industry being one of the most lucrative industries, it is not surprising that so many want to join us.
To enjoy an income from the beauty industry, your firstly need to take a course, but it is important to always check that the course you want to take is accredited. Accredited qualifications will allow you to gain insurance, which is imperative for any therapist and client. accredited training will ensure that you have covered all aspects of the treatment, along with ensuring that you have received in-depth training, this will help you to be confident and capable in the treatment you are offering. Accredited training will also allow you to work with our industry.
In class training allows for the tutor to help and guide you with you new skills. This cannot be attained from doing an online course. Always remember to ask lots of questions during your training, this is your time to learn from your tutor, use their experience and expertise.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025!
This is always a busy time of the year for us, with many people looking at earning an additional income, along with salons having the time to invest in the training & skill enhancing of their therapists it certainly keeps us on our toes.
We always wonder what new treatments will make an appearance in the forthcoming year! This time last year we started to hear about the Japanese Head Spa treatments, my goodness and how they have taken the industry by storm. With clients and ‘Tik-Tok’ talking about the relaxing and rejuvenating experience that people are discovering we expect that trend to continue this year.
This year we are expecting the uptake in eyelash lifting to continue with many people preferring the natural look to the eyelash extensions. Although I cannot see there ever being a lack of clients for eyelash extensions.
Builder gel and gel polish continue to be very popular, with the nail companies improving and continually developing their products, the demand continues to grow.
