Description
Manicures is the foundation of any nail treatment, teaching our students how to care for the natural nail. Learning how to file the nails correctly, care for the cuticles along with carrying out a hand and arm massage. Gel polish known as a semi-permanent or 14 day polish, this is cured (set) under a LED light which creates a hard finish. This eliminates the ‘smudging’ that often happens when applying standard nail polish.
Pedicures are no longer seen as just a luxury pamper treatment. Client’s want to look after their feet, being more presentable, and not just for the summer months. Within this course you will learn all aspects of pedicures along with offering luxury treatments to enhance your treatment service.
Hard gel is a gel which is cured under a UV or LED light creating a hard layer to nail tips. This allows clients who wish to have a longer looking nail created instantly with nail tips, creating any length or shape for your clients. This can be left clear, pink and white or a colour applied over the top.
Builder gel is a form of gel polish, but creates a much harder layer to the nail, also known as BIAB. Kinder to the natural nail than some other forms of nail applications. Within this course you will learn how to apply builder gel to the natural nail as well as applying to short nail tips.
Electric files have been developed to be used much safer than previously when used. E-files help us work on the clients nail in a more efficient way saving us many man hours, whilst still creating a safe environment and health to the hands and nails. Using the e-files will help with the refining and removing the various gels.
